Petersburg Regional Art Center Galleries

PRAC has two large galleries. When you enter the PRAC building from Sycamore Street you are entering the very spacious main art gallery. This is where the monthly all-media shows are displayed. This room is also used for weddings and other events. Stairs lead to the Mezzanine Gallery which can also be entered from Union Street. The Mezzanine Gallery has several artists' displays each month. In addition to the two large galleries PRAC has artist studios on four floors. All studios are open during the Friday for the Arts. Friday for the Arts features art work, music, shopping and dining at several restaurants in the Old Town area of Petersburg - come out on the second Friday of every month and join the party.
